This heel offers three different rubber compounds in Dexter’s unique Saw Tooth pattern, creating five different zones of rubber to allow for a smooth, consistent transition from slide to Maximum brake. This design allows the slide to stop very smoothly on extra-slick approaches. The firm leading edge compound begins the slide transition to brake. The middle compound softens to progressively increase brake, and blends into a tackier compound at the trailing end for Optimum Brake.
